Your home nestled in the heart of Marrakech's old town
Marrakech—the Red City wrapped in noise and color. Tucked away in its bustling old town lies a neighborhood that feels like the kitchen of the Marrakshi people.
Fresh vegetables and fruit, juicy cuts of meat, fish from the Atlantic, warm bread straight from the oven, and the rich scent of spices…
This lively area, filled with local vendors and everyday life, offers a glimpse into the authentic Moroccan way of living—far from the polished, touristy side of the city.
In this very spot, we renovated a traditional Moroccan house known as a riad, preserving its original charm while adding modern comfort. Dar Mirai opened its doors here on August 15, 2014, in the heart of this vibrant setting.
For every guest who visits from around the world, we hope this place becomes the beginning of something new—a fresh chapter shaped by shared stories and meaningful connections with our staff and fellow travelers.
We strive to make every guest feel as though they've come home—like returning to a beloved family house—offering warm, heartfelt hospitality in true Moroccan spirit.

"What I loved most about Dar Mirai was the kindness of the owner, Hikaru’s family and staff. Nearby, more local area, I found a small stall that served simple but super tasty dish. An old lady sitting next to me even gave me warm bread, and we enjoyed non verbal conversation watching daily life go by—people chatting, donkeys passing, motorcycles weaving through the street."

"Dar Mirai is located relatively close to the gate of the Marrakech Medina, so I found it convenient that it’s only about a 5-minute walk from where the taxi drops you off. What I found most reassuring was being able to consult with Hikaru, the Japanese owner, about my trip. Thanks to her recommendation of a great food stall, I had a fulfilling stay in Marrakech. The accommodation was clean and provided a relaxing atmosphere."
